Season: Early April to Mid October 2007 (Every Saturday).

Day 01:KATHMANDU-LHASA (3650M.) : Fly on Air China Airlines flight to Lhasa. Upon arrival at Gonggar Airport, your Tibetan guide and transferprovide to Lhasa city shall meet you. Overnight at Hotel.

Accommodation: Twin Sharing, private bath {Attached} on Bed and Breakfast Basis.

Day 02/03:LHASA SIGHTSEEING TOUR:  Visit The Potala & Norbulinka Palace, Drepung & Sera Monastery, Jorkhang Temple & Barkhor Bazzar.Overnight at Hotel.

Accommodation: Twin Sharing, private bath {Attached} on Bed and Breakfast Basis.

Day 04:LHASA-GYANTSE(259kms):  Drive to Gyantse crossing The KAMBA LA (4794m) & KARO LA Pass (5010m). via The Lake Yamdrok-Tso. Overnight at Hotel.

Accommodation: Twin Sharing, private bath {Attached} on Bed and Breakfast Basis.

Day 05:GYANTSE-SHIGATSE (3900M)-90KMS:  Morning:Visit The Khumbhum Supa & Phalkor Monastery at Gyantse. Embark on a pleasant 2 hrs, drive to Shigatse. Afternoon: Sightseeing Tours of the Tashilumpo Monastery and the free Tibetan Market. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 06:SHIGATSE-XEAR (3900M) -244KMS: Drive over to approx. 8 hours Xegar. Overnight at Hotel.

Accommodation: Twin Sharing, Common Bath on Bed and Breakfast Basis.

Day 07:XEGAR-DZA RANGPHU (4920M) -60KMS:  Drive over rocky terrain on 4-WD by Land-cruiser/s to the village of Dza Rangphu. Overnight at Lodge.

Accommodation: Twin Sharing, Common Bath on Bed and Breakfast Basis.

Day 08:EVEREST BASE CAMP EXCURSION (5090M):  A 2 hours trek from the Rongbuk Monastery will lead you to the base of the highest peak on earth. The North face of Mount Everest (8848m) OR Mount Quomolangma in Tibetan. Explore the Base Camp and the Rongphu Glacier. Retreat to lodge. Later in the afternoon, return to tingri (approx. 96kms/3hrs). Overnight at Hotel.

Accommodation: Twin Sharing, Common Bath on Bed and Breakfast Basis.

Day 09:TINGRI-NYALAM (3750M) -214KMS:  Drive downhill to Nyalam crossing two spectacular passes-The LALUNG-LA (5082m) & Nyalam (3800m). Overnight at Hotel.

Accommodation: Twin Sharing, Common Bath on Bed and Breakfast Basis.

Day 10:NYALAM-KATHMANDU (1200M)-123KMS:  Drive downhill to Zhangmu and to The Friendship Bridge where transportation awaits for the Groups for final journey to Kathmandu.

COST INCLUDE: ***Travel permit / 4WD Land-Cruiser Jeep  or Mini Bus for transfers as per itinerary /Local English speaking guide / Accommodation on twin sharing & BB Basis as per hotel plan / sightseeing Tours / Monastery entrance fees / Air fares on Kathmandu-Lhasa.

COST EXCLUDES: *** Airport Tax /China Visa fees / Nepal Re-entry visa Fee / Travel Insurance, Extra cost in the event of landslide for hiring porter charge or arranging additional transportation (Cost US$ 10 - 15 approx. per person) and expenses of personal nature. ALL MEALS EXCEPT BREAKFAST.
